Jordan...
I saw Jordan today!! He's home for a few days to be with family and is back on his way. He will recover on the base and return to combat. He feels obligated to finish his duty.
The story he told us was just awful.
Jordan had many close calls while he was in Kandahar. Someone was watching him very closely.
I just pray that they're still there when he returns.
It was nice to see him. He is very skinny, and has a full beard. I saw one of his injuries and OUCH is all I can say.
The piece of shrapnel that was removed from his leg is being set into glass.. Some people keep stiches, some keep teeth.. Jordan keeps shrapnel!!
Gotta love him..
Welcome home for a few days Jordan, we love you very much.. PLEASE stay away from the goats..

jenni, they were heeps not goats. goats would kick to hard. i saw him today and hes having a rough day. maybe its because he has to leave his safe home and mom and dad or the allergic reaction of the drugs hes taking but he looked really bad today. i hope every day it will get easier. love you mom........
