Rusty

My cat Rusty has no clue what is happening to her living space. Every time she walks into the living room, an empty cardboard box falls on her and she jumps five feet in the air.
Poor thing has no idea.
But it would be nice if she picked up a box and packed while I was at work.. She has things too.
Oh well....

Boxes, boxes, and more boxes

I'm not to sure what hurts more. A paper cut, or a card board box cut.
I've gotten a few. Maybe that's what I get for packing 4 weeks before I actually move. My spare bedroom has turned into a storage room.
It's amazing how much "crap" I have gathered in three years. I am trying to "clean sweep" while I go. It's just so hard saying good-bye to certain things. For instance, valentines from the kids in my class 4 years ago. (they don't know what they were for, and like they wrote their own names, but they are so cute) and a pair of jeans from a few years ago (I WILL GET BACK INTO THEM). The list could go on.
I have had fun packing, and making little reminders and to do lists every day.
Well, back to more boxes...

5th Floor here I come

Well, I am in the process of moving... How exciting. For some, it's not well liked. For me it's awesome. I am finally moving from a basement apartment, to a 5th floor apartment...
I can't wait. And it shows. I don't officially move until April 1st, and I already have 7 boxes packed. Impatient.. I think so..
The walls are bare, and the cupboards are almost empty. I plan to eat off styrofoam, or mooch off family for the next few weeks.. (wait, I already do that.. hehehe)
I can't wait, I cain't wait, I can't wait.....
Back to boxes.. *j

Just another day...

Well.. February 14th has come and gone.. and to me it's just another day...
Who needs a relationship when you are surrounded by friends who love you.. (wait, they're all single too.. hmm?)
Maybe next year it won't be just another day...

Coyote Ugly?

Well actually, Coyotes are beautiful animals. I know for a fact. The other day at my day care, a coyote was in the back yard up close and personal..
Animal control confirmed and called in back up.. We figured that another Animal Control vehicle would come and help, but instead in rolled the London Police Department. (because you know they have nothing better to do then shoot a coyote in the back of a day care.. why not?)
Well, long story short, the animal didnt get shot, but scared out of it's hiding place and let free.
Watch your backs, there's a coyote on the loose.

Cough, Cough

So, I have had it.
I have been sick for 7 days straight now, and frankly I am SICK of being SICK. But it's kind of hard not to be in the field that I am.
DAYCARE.
A scary word to most, but for me, it's a pretty amazing job.
I love my job.
(Did I just say that out loud?) I do.
I love the children that I take care of. They make me laugh. They make me cry. But most of all, they make my day!
It is true - KIDS SAY THE FUNNIEST THINGS!
I remember this one little guy, man he just boiled my blood.
Well, one day he was describing to his grandma what we had for lunch.
(We had CHICKEN CASSEROLE for lunch.. but the version grandma received was )
"WE HAD CHICKEN ASSHOLE for lunch".
I've never seen a grandma laugh so hard (other than my own).
It was cute, but he still boiled my blood.!!
